Early Childhood Teacher and Inclusion (Behavioural Support) Consultant and Therapist
Shana Owen is a highly committed early childhood teacher and therapist, bringing over 20 years of invaluable experience to her role. Her passion lies in supporting children and their families to flourish in a variety of settings, where she draws upon her extensive knowledge to cultivate inclusive environments tailored to diverse needs. Through the implementation of Neurodiversity-affirming practices and therapy, combined with a strong focus on promoting Social-Emotional Wellbeing, Shana works diligently to ensure that every child feels secure and confident in being their authentic selves. By using evidence-based strategies and adopting a holistic, child-led approach to sessions, she actively empowers children, helping them to develop self-awareness and the skills necessary to thrive within their communities.

Shana is passionate, empathetic, warm, and dedicated. She has worked in a variety of educational settings with children from different backgrounds and developmental needs. Her diverse experience in educational environments, coupled with her personal journey as a single mother of three, two of whom are Autistic and ADHD twins, gives her profound insight into the significance of early intervention and therapy. Outside of her nurturing role, she values family time, her two dogs, outings in the countryside, and loves horse riding.
